LJ Patterns Tee

Hey, bloggers! It's Hayden. I'm so sorry that Quinn and I haven't been updating this blog much. We'll try to update it more often. First, Quinn wants me to tell you that she's having a great time at Pogo Academy. Right now, she is just in Wheelchair Basketball, but she might join the tennis team, too. She has already competed in three basketball tournaments, and was the star player in two of them! Of course, I was there to cheer her on, every time. Maybe I will bring Abbey and Chloe's camera to one of her games soon. Also, I've been going to lots of tennis tournaments, and soccer is starting soon. Well, enough about that. Abbey and Chloe have been sewing clothes from the Liberty Jane Patterns books. The other day, they finished a T-Shirt, and they let me try it on first. I'm not so in to couture and designer clothes (I'd rather wear sweat pants with a hoodie), but this shirt is so comfy. I never thought couture would be comfy. I wore it with a Liberty Jane sweater, Liberty Jane jeans, and Liberty Jane fringe boots. I always thought couture would be uncomfortable, but I was so wrong. Abbey and Chloe are making some new pieces during Spring Break, and I can't wait to try them on. So tell me, are there any other dolls out there who like doll couture? And more specifically, are there any dolls out there who thought they wouldn' t like couture, but absolutely loved it? So, I guess this post is coming to an end. Congratulations to you, if you read through this whole ramble/post. Quinn will blog soon!
See You,
Hayden

Snow and Good News

Hello, bloggers and blog readers. It's Hayden. I have good news! Quinn talked with her mom for over two months about coming to Pogo Academy ,the sports school I attend. And her Mum finally let said yes! Quinn will start her classes after Christmas Holidays. So far, Quinn has picked Wheelchair Basketball and she wants to ref for the younger kids. She can always choose more activites before she comes, though. But like me, she also has to attend her regular classes, like Science and English. I really hope she does Wheelchair Tennis, so she can play tennis with me. She's also thinking about Wheelchair Skiing for the winter. It sounds like tons of fun, but really hard, too! And some more good news: there's snow everywhere! Quinn and I love snow, and today we went outside to go play in it. Click HERE to see our "Snow Day" video, and look below for my favorite picture of Quinn and I in the snow.

Wheelchair-Basketball

Hey, everyone. It's Quinn. Today I finally tried wheelchair-basketball.I never thought I would say this, but I must say, I am pretty good at it. I knew most of the basics of basketball already, but Hayden came out and taught me the rest of it. I even scored a few baskets.
In the last post, Hayden was talking about how she really wanted me to come to Pogo Academy. Well, I'll play some more basketball, and maybe discover a new wheelchair sport or two, and then I'll decide. I was thinking about it, and it actually sounds pretty fun. Here are some basket ball pictures. Sorry, there are only 3. There is the one below, and all three are in an album. Click HERE to see the album.

Pogo Academy

Hey, It's Hayden. Well, I am back for another year at Pogo Academy. Those of you who don't know, it is the sports school that I go to. I am doing soccer and tennis again, this year. I might do volleyball later on in the year, if I can. For months, I have been trying to get Quinn to come to Pogo Academy, but she says she can't, since she's in a wheelchair. Well, she's wrong! I told her that we have lot's of sports for people in wheelchair's. Pogo offers wheelchair-basketball, wheelchair-racing, wheelchair-tennis, wheelchair-hockey, and even wheelchair-snow-skiing in winter! (Yes, those ARE all real sports.) She said she'd let me teach her a little bit of wheelchair-basketball just to see if she likes it or not. I really hope she does. Wouldn't that awesome to play sports with my best friend at school? *Fingers Crossed!*

Oh, and today was picture day, so here's my picture:

Trip with Ruthie

Hey, everybody it's Quinn. Hayden and I just got back from a trip with our friend, Ruthie! We went to Killarney, a small town in Canada, so I am pretty sure none of you have heard of it. We did tons of fun things like go to the lake, play on a GIANT checkerboard, and camp out in the trailer. It was so much fun, and I am very jealous of my friends, Mia and Julie, because they get to go there next week. I hope I can go again next summer! Here are some pictures.

Hayden Is Finally On Summer Vacation!

Hey everybody! It's Quinn. Hayden is finally on summer vacation. The sports academy that she goes to (Pogo Academy) ends school on June 11th (yesterday) and it starts again later than other schools. Yesterday I went to her award ceremony, and guess what? She got an award! The "Good Sport Award". Her Coach/Teacher, Coach Potter said that win or lose, Hayden is always nice about it. That's very true, Coach Potter!

Here is the album link of Hayden, me, and our friends at the award ceremony. Enjoy!
